Ninety percent of the profits from sales of select paintings this month will go to help LA!

This January, I will be doing my own little fundraiser to help LA get through this devastating time. The money raised will go to families and businesses who have lost everything in the fires. What is raised will be spread out to legitimate organizations and many GoFundMe’s that have been verified. You will be in the loop as to where the money is going.

Right now, I have about 12-14 available large paintings still in LA that were about to be shipped to NY. They’re in Culver City, not near the fires. 🤞🏼🙏🏻

For this month, ✨90%✨ of profits of any sale of these paintings will go to help people in need in LA — to vetted, verified, and legit organizations and various gofundme’s. In February, I will continue to donate at 50%. I’m hoping to get people motivated to make a decision to help ASAP. Obviously, many of the people will need help for years to come, but this is my version of jumpstarting the help.

Any painting can be shipped anywhere in the world (shipping is extra, outside of LA County). This fundraiser applies to my paintings in inventory in LA, as I have my own health challenges and I have to keep this as simple as possible for me. At least I have helper angels in LA where they are stored. ❤️😇 @castelliartframing

DM me if interested for details, a price list, and any questions. It may take me a bit to get back to you, as I’m navigating with my own limitations. I thank you for your patience. 🙏🏻

With love, RR

Art Show for Angelenos during Quarantine!

I am so proud to be invited to exhibit one of my paintings via a series of video projection installations by TZ Projects. It’s called, Going Home: a picture show, running from MAY 15-20th, 8pm-12AM (note start new time!).

The exhibition marks the official launch of TZ Projects. The show “consists of projected video window installations to provide a destination activity for Angelenos during quarantine.” (TZProjects.org)

My painting “Industrial Pastures of the Present” will be projected on a large screen up in the windows of TZ Projects’ space right on the corner of Beverly Blvd & Crescent Heights Blvd. 8070 Beverly Blvd to be exact… right in the center of Los Angeles!

Five nights of coolness and beauty! Read more about the show’s mission here, as well as see the list of many amazing artists who are part of it! Plus, there are ways to benefit charities associated with TZ Projects (please see their website).

So wonderful to hear that art is alive and well in LA! (of course it would be!!)

Oh, and in line with LA’s adherence to the rules during the pandemic, here is how you experience the show: You can view the show from your car or walk up to the window display while adhering to social distancing guidelines. It’s as easy as that!

For those of you not in Los Angeles, I will take video (of the videos!) and post to my social media pages. Do you follow me on Instagram and Facebook? Not yet? Why not?! I provided you links to make it easy…

AND, I have a music show coming up! But one blog post at a time ;)
